Chiming Workspace Connector

A private bridge between Google accounts controlled by Chiming Wang and a self-hosted Hermes Agent installation.

No public registration, no advertising, and no sale of data.

Purpose

This connector lets its operator use Hermes Agent for user-directed work across Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Contacts, Docs, and Sheets. It also supports explicitly configured personal automations, including a selective email monitor.

The connector is not offered as a service to the public, has no customer accounts, and does not accept public sign-ups. Access is limited to Google accounts controlled by or personally known to the operator.

Connected services

Gmail

Read and search messages, support configured monitoring, send email, and modify mailbox state when directed.

Calendar

Read schedules and manage events for planning, reminders, and user-requested workflows.

Drive

Work with files and folders, including user-directed creation, retrieval, organization, sharing, and deletion.

Contacts

Read contact information to support personal communication and context.

Docs

Read, create, and update documents when the operator requests it.

Sheets

Read, create, and update spreadsheets for user-directed tasks.

Data handling

• Private infrastructure. OAuth credentials and operational state are stored on the operator's private, self-hosted system.
• Purpose-limited use. Google data is accessed only to provide tasks and automations knowingly selected or configured by the operator.
• Transparent processing. When a task requires language-model processing, the minimum relevant content may be sent to the operator's configured AI/model provider.
• Operator control. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account's third-party connections settings.
